Magpul's latest bipod, the MOE, is the lightest in their line, weighing a mere 8 ounces – nearly 40% less than some of their existing models. Yet, it still provides a dependable and stable platform for shooting. Designed to mount quickly and easily to the popular Uncle Mike's Sling Swivel Stud, the MOE bipod utilizes the latest injection molding technology to significantly reduce weight while retaining the functionality and strength found in Magpul's other bipods.
Attaching and detaching the MOE bipod is a breeze, thanks to its rapid-attach sling stud mounting system. Self-locating, stainless steel clasps ensure perfect alignment when mounting, and the large, ergonomic thumbwheel allows for a strong grip and easy tightening.
The non-marring, over-molded saddle is designed to fit securely across a range of stock sizes, providing ideal load distribution without leaving a mark on your rifle. An optional low-profile sling stud on the rear of the mount allows for the attachment of a sling.
With a low stack height of just 1.73 inches when folded, the MOE Bipod is a streamlined package that stays out of the way until needed. The legs stow neatly forward and deploy without the use of buttons or levers, simply snapping down and locking into position. They extend from 7 to 10 inches and slide and lock securely with the push of a button, using seven 1/2-inch spaced locking detents.
Staggered, soft rubber feet provide a secure grip on a variety of shooting surfaces, and they can be easily removed and replaced with most Atlas-pattern bipod feet using a roll pin punch.
The Magpul MOE Bipod offers serious strength and versatility in a lightweight, user-friendly package, making it a valuable addition to any shooter's arsenal.
